Frequently the information provided by the sites listed in this topic is more specific to a particular location than the information that can be found in the Travel Directories topic.

The Regional topic also may also have sites with similar information. The decision to place a guide to a particular location in the Travel topic or in the Regional topic is often a judgement call by the submitting and reviewing editors. In general, the location guides or directories that are intended primarily for visitors go in the Travel topic while those that contain links of interest to area residents may be listed in the Regional topic.
